How to Organize Your Files

Tuesday October 27, 2009

I dare anyone to name a profession with more piles of paperwork to manage than teaching.

Paper comes at us all day long, from all angles and yet, we must keep our classroom and desk area looking neat and tidy at all times. It often feels impossible!

Use these tips for How to Organize Your Files and you'll be on the path to winning the paper war.

What would you recommend to teachers with messy paper piles?

My #1 tip is to minimize the amount of incoming paper in the first place. Just say no to unnecessary paper!

I am commenting on your good article about Teachers and how they really have it. I am a Sunday school teacher that only teaches for 2 1/2 hours and Lord Bless may heart, those hours some days don’t even go fast enough. We keep a bucket and mop in the bathroom just in case somebody gets, sick, pee on the floor and don’t forget there is always a spill. Bless the person who invented paper towels! Still love my kiddies though:-)
