I use a color coded trick. It’s really simple yet works well. Each period I teach gets its own color folders (2 of them). One folder is the “Hand-In” folder of things to be graded. The second folder is the “Hand-Out” folder of things that have been graded and ready to return to students. It helps me a lot.
