It seems as though parents today struggle with gaining respect from their children. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, one thing us teachers can do is provide our students with activities that will show them how to be grateful for what they have. If children can truly grasp the importance of being thankful, then maybe it would give them a better idea of how much their parents do for them.
