What is a lesson plan? A lesson plan is a teacher's best friend. It's their road map to help guide them throughout their day. I remember when I was student teaching. I thought the mandatory lesson plans that we had to hand in were time consuming, and annoying. Now, looking back, I can see why we had to write them every day. They keep you on track and help you stay organized. If it we didn't have a detailed description of our plans, then what would our substitute teachers do if we were sick?
