A great teacher will always be prepared for anything! That is why creating emergency lesson plans is a good idea. These plans will provide the substitute with all the information they need to take over your classroom and keep it running smoothly. Prepare your lessons early in the year just in case an emergency does arise. The following article provides you with a variety of lesson plan ideas and tips to include in your emergency folder. Remember, the activities and lessons that you choose do not have to correlate with the lessons that you are teaching. These lessons can be review activities or lessons that you can not fit into your current curriculum.
