readingIt's Read Across America Week! This is the National Education Association's (NEA) 16th year to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with the nationwide literacy campaign. On March 2nd (Dr. Seuss' official birthday) the NEA along with, teachers, parents, and children, will honor Dr. Seuss by reading books and participating in the Read Across America campaign.

How are you going to celebrate with your students? You can start by taking a pledge at Readacrossamerica.org. Then try the following activities:
