Too many vacations?

Now, don't get me wrong! I'm certainly not complaining about breaks. I can relax and take it easy with the best of them! But, do you ever notice how every time you take a vacation, it's a little bit harder to get your students back on track with behavior and learning? It's like they forget all of the routines and positive habits you've instilled in them over the months and sometimes it might even feel like you're starting from scratch! We just had a little break for Veteran's Day and now I'm thinking about the Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks that lie ahead. Does anyone have any ideas or tips for minimizing the disruption and keeping your kids productive and on track? If so, please, help the rest of us and let us know in the Forum!
