We are a Class Act Award at About.com!

Congratulations on joining our Class Acts listing of classroom, school, and district web sites! Here are a few of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about being a part of our listing:

Q. How are web sites selected for the Class Acts listing?

A. Educators who have a classroom, school, and/ or district web site send in their URL and location to Beth Lewis, your Guide to Elementary School Educators. She then screens through the sites and adds the best sites to the Class Acts section.

Q. Do I have to put the "We are a Class Act at About.com" code onto my page?

A. It is not required in order to participate in Class Acts. However, the code and small image were especially designed to be an easy way for participating sites to publicize this award and direct visitors to their listing.

Q. How do I add the code?

A. Use your mouse to highlight the code that was emailed to you. Then, go to "Edit/ Copy." Next, go to your HTML editor and put your mouse where you would like the code to go. Then, go to "Edit/ Paste" to insert the code into your web page. That's it!

Q. What if I change the address of my web page?

A. In order to remain on the Class Acts listing, you will need to keep us updated on your site's URL. The entire Elementary School Educators site is regularly searched for dead and broken links. If your site moves, it will be removed from the listing, unless an updated URL has been sent to Beth Lewis.

Thank you for submitting your site to Class Acts at About.com. Welcome to our community of educators!
