Newbery Medal Winners in Children's Literature

Each year, the American Library Association chooses one book that represents the best in children's literature. These books subsequently receive a lot of attention, and the list represents a great starting point for those who want to explore the best that American children's literature has had to offer over the past decades. Elementary school teachers may want to use this list as a resource for book studies in a whole group setting.
