Back to School Night Bonding Tip

On Back to School Night, you get to meet your new students' parents for the first time. Typically, the students stay home from this event. But you better believe that your students are excited for their parents to see their new classroom and meet their teacher!

Here's an easy way to facilitate positive feelings between your students and their parents by helping them connect and create a little memory together. Leave one piece of cute notepad paper on each student's desk. At the end of your Back to School Night presentation, ask the parents to leave a friendly note to their son or daughter. They will then tuck the little notes into the students' desks for their children to discover upon arriving to school the next day! The students will enjoy finding proof that their parents visited their new classroom. The parents will appreciate a simple opportunity to show love to their children.
