As the school year comes to an end for some teachers, others must prepare for summer school activities. Keep your students motivated and occupied by creating some fun, hands-on activities that will keep them inspired to learn throughout the summer. Here you find a collection of lessons, activities and ideas to use in your summer school classroom.

Summer time is the perfect time to get students outside and explore! These activities will allow students to practice their exploration and observation skills in the great outdoors.

Summer Reading Lists

A great way to kick off every morning in summer school is to have students begin the day with a good book. For elementary students in grades k-6 this usually means having the students choose a picture book.
